A 17-year-old boy drowned Saturday evening at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix, police said.
The boy was visiting the property with a large group and was swimming with another member of that party when he drowned around 10 p.m., officials said.
Phoenix police Sgt. Joel Tranter said it was unknown whether the boy had any prior medical conditions that might have caused him to drown.
The pool closes at 10 p.m.
There was no lifeguard on duty.
