Fire crews responded to a Glendale home after a boy was reportedly found face down in a pond Monday morning.
Fire officials said the family was in the backyard of their home, near 83rd Avenue and Maryland after 11 a.m., and lost track of the boy for two or three minutes.
When they found the child, who is about 1 year old, he was face down in a pond, according to the report.
The boy was crying when fire officials transported him to a local hospital.
