August 4. 1998

A 2-year-old Peoria girl almost drowned in a swimming pool filled with other people.

Firefighters say Timra Price was in the pool when she turned and saw her daughter floating face down. She quickly pulled her little girl out of the water and performed CPR until she started breathing on her own.

Rescue crews flew the child to St. Joseph's Hospital in stable condition.

Firefighters say they expect her to make a full recovery.
