PHOENIX — A woman was pronounced dead after being found in a backyard pool in Phoenix Friday night, according to officials with the Phoenix Fire Department.
The woman was found in a backyard pool near 40th Street and Baseline Road by a family member and was “beyond resuscitative efforts,” officials said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name and age have not been released.

PHOENIX — A 3-year-old is in extremely critical condition after being pulled from a pool Thursday night.
Officials were called to a home in the area of 51st Avenue and Baseline after a child was found in the backyard pool.

PHOENIX — A one-year-old boy has died after being found unconscious in a backyard swimming pool.
At around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Phoenix Fire crews were called to a home near 31st Avenue and Union Hills Drive for reports of a drowning.

FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. — A woman is dead after drowning in Fountain Hills, authorities said.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the area near Eagle Ridge Drive and Palisades Boulevard around 10 p.m. on Friday in reference to an injured person.

TEMPE, AZ — Emergency crews in Tempe pulled two bodies out of Tempe Town Lake this week alone.
Friday, emergency crews pulled the body of an unidentified man out of the lake. An investigation is still ongoing.

Firefighters responded to a call around 8 a.m. in regards to a possible drowning at a retirement community near West Queen Creek Road and Arizona Avenue.
