PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A two-year-old girl is in the hospital after she was found unconscious in a backyard pool in south Phoenix on Saturday.
First responders were called to the home near 16th Street and Baseline Road around 6 p.m. Crews arrived on the scene to family members giving the girl CPR. As of Sunday morning, police say the toddler remains in the hospital in critical condition.

The bodies of two men who authorities say drowned at Fossil Creek in the Coconino National Forest have been recovered.
The Gila County Sheriff’s Office says they received 911 calls at 6 p.m. on May 8 about one or two men who entered the water at lower Fossil Creek and never resurfaced.

CHANDLER, AZ — A 12-year-old boy is recovering in the hospital after he was pulled from a pool Wednesday morning in Chandler.
Chandler fire officials say they were called to the Hamilton Aquatic Center Wednesday morning for a submersion incident.
They add that CPR was in progress on the boy when fire personnel got to the scene.

AVONDALE, Ariz. – Two toddlers have died after being found in a Phoenix home’s pool on Thursday afternoon.
First responders initially responded to a report of a toddler in a pool near Lower Buckeye Road and 63rd Avenue. When they got there, they learned that two toddlers were found in the pool and needed medical help.
Both toddlers were taken to a nearby hospital. They were in critical condition before police announced they had died.
