AVONDALE, Ariz. – Two toddlers have died after being found in a Phoenix home’s pool on Thursday afternoon.
First responders initially responded to a report of a toddler in a pool near Lower Buckeye Road and 63rd Avenue. When they got there, they learned that two toddlers were found in the pool and needed medical help.
Both toddlers were taken to a nearby hospital. They were in critical condition before police announced they had died.

It happened near SR 85 and Broadway Road just before 2 p.m.
Buckeye fire officials say the child’s condition is critical.

Crews were called to a home near Happy Valley Road and Lake Pleasant Parkway Saturday evening.
Officials say the child was awake and coughing and was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

AVONDALE, Ariz. — A 63-year-old woman was found dead in an Avondale community lake Wednesday afternoon, officials said. Police said they don’t suspect foul play.
GILBERT, AZ (AZFamily) — A disturbing discovery was made in a Gilbert canal on Saturday morning.
Somebody spotted a body floating in the water near Baseline and Lindsay roads just after 6:30 a.m.
The body belonged to an unidentified man.

PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A one-year-old boy is in the hospital after nearly drowning in a backyard pool in Peoria on Saturday afternoon.
The Peoria Police Department says the boy was pulled from an above-ground pool at a home on Monroe Street, near 95th and Peoria Avenues. He was initially rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. However, in an update on Sunday morning, officers said he is expected to survive.
