Mesa Fire: Toddler in critical condition after near-drowning

MESA, AZ – A 2 1/2-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition after he nearly drowned at a Mesa home Friday afternoon.

Mesa Fire Department officials said the boy was in the water for about four minutes at the time paramedics responded to the call, near 40th Street and Brown Road.
