3-year-old boy found not breathing after being pulled from pool near Mesa has died

MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A 3-year-old boy is in the hospital after being found in a backyard above-ground pool near Mesa Thursday afternoon.

Rural Metro Fire officials said the boy was not breathing, was unconscious and had no pulse when first responders arrived at the house.

MCSO later reported that he past away.
