STRAWBERRY, AZ (AZFamily) — A 25-year-old man died Sunday after drowning beneath a waterfall in the Fossil Creek Wilderness in central Arizona.
Just before noon, deputies were dispatched to a reported drowning at the Fossil Creek Lower Waterfalls, according to the Gila County Sheriff’s Office. They responded alongside Tonto Rim Search and Rescue and Pine-Strawberry Fire Department.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A toddler is recovering in the hospital after he was pulled from a backyard pool at a central Phoenix home on Monday evening.
Just before 7 p.m., Phoenix firefighters received reports of a drowning at a home near 15th and Glendale avenues. Firefighters say a 2-year-old boy was found in a backyard pool unconscious.

LAKE PLEASANT, AZ (AZFamily) — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said it has recovered the body of a woman who drowned Sunday morning at Lake Pleasant.
MCSO said deputies were first called to a possible drowning at Pipeline Cove at Lake Pleasant around 11:30 a.m.

PHOENIX — A man drowned in a backyard pool in Phoenix on Sunday, according to officials with the city’s fire department.
First responders arrived at the scene, near 32nd Street and Greenway Road, and found the man unresponsive in the pool, officials said. He was “beyond resuscitation,” officials said.
TEMPE, AZ — A child has died after being pulled from a swimming pool in Tempe.
Just before 11 a.m. Monday, emergency crews were called to a home near Rural and Warner roads for a possible drowning.
Officials say a two-year-old girl was pulled from a backyard swimming pool and taken to a hospital in critical condition.

PHOENIX — Police are investigating after a body was pulled from a canal in south Phoenix on Monday.
Phoenix fire officials say they were called to the area near 19th Avenue and Dobbins Road around 5:30 p.m. for reports of a drowning.

NEW RIVER, AZ — Maricopa County deputies have located the body of a man who was swept away by floodwaters in New River on Sunday morning.
Officials say they received a call reporting a vehicle that was swept away in the Agua Fria River near Interstate 17 and Table Mesa Road.
