PHOENIX — A woman has died after being found at the bottom of a pool at a home near I-17 and Carefree Highway, the Phoenix Fire Department said.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics, the fire department said. The scene has been turned over to Phoenix Police Department.
PHOENIX — A toddler who almost drowned three weeks ago has made a full recovery, and now his mom is warning other parents to be extra cautious.
On April 18, then 22-month-old Justin wandered into the backyard of his north Phoenix home, away from his parent’s surveillance for just minutes. After realizing he was missing, Erica and Anthony Alvarez, the mom and dad, quickly found Justin in the pool, floating face down.

PHOENIX — An 11-month-old boy was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after being pulled from a backyard pool in Phoenix on Friday.
The Phoenix Fire Department says it happened near 60th Street and Camelback Road. Firefighters and police responded to the home after reports the child was found unresponsive in the pool.

A four-year-old girl is in critical condition after being pulled from a Phoenix swimming pool.
According to officials with the Phoenix Fire Department, firefighters responded to a home near 48th Street and Ray Road Thursday, around 1:30 p.m.
the girl was found unconscious in the pool and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
No other details were been provided.

The boat reportedly capsized near Alder Creek as a large storm moved into the area. The boat, with five people on board, was trying to leave the area as the storm approached but the engine would not start. Someone on another boat attempted to help jumpstart the boat but the efforts were unsuccessful.
As the storm approached, the boat began to capsize. The driver of the other boat, and their passenger, were reportedly able to help rescue three of the five people on the stranded boat.
Two of them, 52-year-old Rick Le Grand and 41-year-old Deanna Peterson, were not able to be located. On Tuesday, MCSO officials say the recovered Peterson’s body, but are still looking for Le Grand.

PHOENIX — A young boy has died after being pulled from a Phoenix pool Tuesday morning.
Crews went to a home near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road around 8 a.m. Tuesday in response to a 2-year-old boy who was found unconscious in a backyard pool.
Police officers got to the scene first and performed CPR on the child until paramedics arrived. The boy was then taken to the hospital in serious condition but did not survive.

BUCKEYE, AZ — A 1-year-old boy has died after being pulled from a pool near Broadway and Miller roads on Sunday, July 19.
Firefighters say when they arrived on scene, the child was unresponsive as family members administered CPR.
There was no fence around the pool and it is unclear how long the child was underwater, officials say.
Buckeye firefighters say the child would have been turning 2-years-old in a few days.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
AVONDALE, AZ — A 1-year-old boy is recovering after being pulled from a pool near 111th Avenue and Indian School Road Sunday evening.
When Avondale firefighters arrived on scene, the family was already on their way to the emergency room.
Authorities met the family near Thomas Road and Garden Lakes Parkway to take over transfer to the hospital.
Firefighters say the child was in the pool with several people when he was found floating face down in the water.
Family members pulled the child from the pool and performed CPR. The child was alert and awake at the time of transport, firefighters say.
Firefighters say the home did have a pool fence with a gate and latch.

A 33-year-old man believed to have drowned early Saturday was recovered from a lake at Cesar Chavez Park, according to police.
Officers responded to the park near Baseline Road and 35th Avenue at about 2 a.m. for a possible drowning, said Phoenix Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Mercedes Fortune.
