Man’s body recovered after drowning at Lake Pleasant

LAKE PLEASANT, AZ (AZFamily) — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office says it has recovered the body of a swimmer who seemingly drowned at Lake Pleasant over the weekend.

Deputies says a man who was swimming near the 10-lane boat ramp, approximately 100 feet from the shoreline on Sunday afternoon when he went underwater and never surfaced.
