PHOENIX — A two-year-old boy is at a hospital after being pulled from a swimming pool in north Phoenix.

According to Phoenix Fire officials, crews were called to a home near 12th Street and Union Hills Drive Sunday morning for reports of a drowning.

When they arrived on scene they found the two-year-old, already pulled from the water and not breathing.

Crews immediately started advanced resuscitation procedures, as CPR was initiated before paramedics arrived, officials said.

GLENDALE, AZ — A 3-year-old boy has died after being pulled from backyard pool in Glendale Sunday night.

Officials say the boy was with his family at a 4th of July party that had about 15-20 adults and up to a dozen children.

He reportedly went into a locked and fenced pool area without anyone’s knowledge for an unknown amount of time.

Officers responded to the call on Mill Avenue near Broadway Road on Sunday evening, police said.

TEMPE, Ariz. — A 3-year-old girl has been sent to the hospital after a near-drowning on Mill Avenue near Broadway Road on Sunday evening.

Officers and Tempe Fire Medical and Rescue responded to the scene around 4:45 p.m. and saw an individual rendering aid to the girl, police said.

TEMPE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — A 1-year-old girl has died after being pulled from an apartment complex pool in Tempe Saturday.

Tempe Fire Department spokeswoman, Andrea Glass, says crews were called to an apartment complex near Rural Road and Baseline Road shortly after 5 p.m. and when crews arrived, they found the child was already out of the water. A bystander and a Tempe police officer were performing CPR on the child. Firefighters took the baby to a local hospital.

On Monday, Glass confirmed that the girl passed away. “We are deeply saddened by this news and will be working to send out safety messaging to reinforce always watching kids around water.”

A bystander and a Tempe police officer were performing CPR on the child. Firefighters took the baby to a local hospital.

It’s unclear how the child got into the pool. The incident is under investigation.
